Wranglers In Training
8th - 12th Grade

July 11th - July 23rd
Wrangler In Training is a unique two-week program for teens with or without prior horse experience. WITs will spend a minimum of 4 hours at the barn each day under wrangler instruction. Daily hands-on clinics will include:
Ground Skills - work with your horse on the ground - gaining not only their respect but also their trust.
Riding Lesson - daily riding lessons will help you to improve your riding skills
Teaching Techniques
week 1 - learn the whys and hows of teaching students different horse skills
week 2 - put your skills to the test and give a short demo to your wit crew
Assist-A-Wrangler - either in a riding lesson, on a trail ride, or with barn chores
Main Camp activities will also be available during daily free time - swimming, boating, craft shack, petting zoo, chapel, BLT (Bible Lesson Time), blob, climbing wall, archery, and more!
