Fall Programs
The Lord greatly blessed our Fall Youth Retreat! We had 33 campers, chilly weather, and LOTS of fun! Joe Basso, our speaker, gave challenging yet encouraging talks out of Luke 14:25-35, stirring our hearts and minds to think of the cost of following Jesus, how well we were following Him, and why following Him is worth it. We had many campers rededicate their lives to the Lord, and there were many heart to heart conversations had between counselors and campers.
We did play a few games outside even though the weather was less than ideal. We had a plethora of board games to play, and even had a trivia contest on Saturday night. Overall it was a fantastic weekend! We’re looking forward to next years and hope you are too!

Joe talked to us about what it means to be a disciple for Jesus, and how you’re never too young to give Him your everything. Here are some of the questions he asked us, and the scripture passages.
Read Luke 14:28-33
Most people take the easier way and try to get out of working hard. In what ways do you try to get out of duties at school or home?
Have you ever started something and never finished it? Why?
Jesus is asking us to follow Him only if we know it will cost us everything (verse 33). Is there anything you are unwilling to give up?
