The new sling shot range was a hit. The sites around camp are just beautiful with color. If  you get a chance come up for a vist and take a hike around. I know you will enjoy your time. Need a place to pray, we have a few spots just for you.

Welcome To Lake Ellen Camp

Lake Ellen Camp sets on 378 beautiful acres and provides creative programming year-round for all ages. There is plenty of room to roam, explore, fish, boat and swim. We have some of the finest groomed cross-country ski trails for our winter enthusiasts.

 Lake Ellen Camp is independently owned and been operating since 1958. It is our goal to provide a Christ-centered; Bible based camping experience for young people to adults from all church backgrounds. Our Guests find Lake Ellen Camp to be an aesthetically pleasing haven, a much-needed respite in a fast-moving world.
 
We are located 35 miles north of Iron Mountain, Michigan and easy to find in the Northwood’s of the Upper Peninsula. Our friendly staff is here to assist you with your needs. Feel free to contact us anytime.

Joel Rogina - Speaker
        Joel is the church planting intern at New Day Christian Church in Weston, Wisconsin. He comes to us with 10 years of children's and youth ministry experience, including several summers at Lake Ellen as a counselor and area director. He and his wife, Heather, met at camp and enjoy living in Wisconsin with their two children.

Cost: $25 Registration (Mail in with registration form)
           $30 Balance Due Upon arrival
           $55 Total

Junior High Fall Retreat

October 17-19, 2008

Joe Basso -speaker
     Joe Basso spent eleven years in the U.S. military serving as a Chaplain Assistant, and an Emergency Manager. He became a Christian in 1999 and afterwards was discipled through Campus Crusade's Military Ministry. He is a gifted communicator and desires to see people of all ages challenged, encouraged, and inspired to pursue a deeply personal relationship with God. Joe and his wife Elizabeth live in Foster City, Michigan and have three children, Caleb, Micah, and Sarah, and one chocolate lab, Charlotte.
